Today, we went to our last breakfast to listen to Breakfast Song one more time. After that, I took the slippers that came with the room and headed out to the lobby to meet everyone else to go to the airport. It was very bitter sweet leaving China, I miss home a lot, but I’ve had so much fun here that I don’t think I will ever look at the country the same way again.
Once we got to the airport, we said goodbye to Ruby, who was taking another flight, and headed to our terminal. It was a very long wait, and we decided to find food to eat in the meantime. Everything there was so expensive, but we found a pizza hut about 45 minutes before our plane was about to leave, so we had to order fast in the sit down restaurant and hurry back before our plane took off. We made it back in time, with leftovers. We boarded the plane, and took off. They were playing a very disturbing movie on board, I don’t think that that kind of movie would be allowed on a public plane owned by America, but that’s just one of the many differences between us and them.
